KMU LOFT Cleanwater turns 30 years old!

We are celebrating our 30th anniversary!

Today 30 years ago Erich Hildebrandt, our founding father, began the success story of KMU LOFT, then still KMU Umweltschutz GmbH. Erich Hildebrandt began his career in Schopfheim at a company that was already involved in evaporator technology over 30 years ago. In 1990 he started his own business with KMU Umweltschutz GmbH and developed a new type of evaporator - the vacuum evaporator. At that time PROWADEST with forced circulation was established. Only six years later, in 1996, DESTIMAT was created under the technical concept of Frank Beisle, who had set up his own company, LOFT Anlagenbau und Beratung GmbH. The DESTIMAT with its natural circulation and the PROWADEST with its forced circulation were designed by the two leading thinkers in such an optimal way that we can and may still offer them for sale today - in the meantime with series that even have a capacity of up to 3,500 liters of water.

With the fusion in 2012, we, the team of KMU LOFT, took over the legacy of two founding entrepreneurs and incredibly talented technicians for the first time. We are particularly proud that Erich Hildebrandt, as founder and managing director of Aquaren GmbH in Switzerland, continues to sell LOFT products on behalf of KMU LOFT and supports us in word and deed as a shareholder. Some of the 45 employees of the former KMU Umweltschutz GmbH have remained loyal to the company from the very beginning and are still working for KMU LOFT Cleanwater today. We are also proud of this consistency and tradition!

Our teams work every day to develop concepts for new applications and to expand the experience of the existing application areas. Every day we strive to become even better and to continuously develop and optimize the company and its products in the spirit of Erich Hildebrandt. For this reason, we are working at full speed on the expansion of the MASTER Line, which in the long run is to replace the DESTIMAT and the PROWADEST, representing the most modern technical standard of vacuum evaporation. We have the ambition to be a technical leader and to produce energy-efficient vacuum evaporators that deliver the best distillate and concentrate quality.

At this point, we would like to thank Mr. Erich Hildebrandt and Mr. Frank Beisle for their pioneering technical masterpiece. We would also like to thank all employees, colleagues, partners, customers and suppliers who accompany us on our way to an ever more modern and environmentally friendly process water treatment. We look forward to the future and the next 30 years with KMU LOFT Cleanwater. Happy birthday!
